does anyone else register pain as discomfort? like you’re not necessarily aware that you’re in pain, but you are aware that you’re not comfortable? or even if you do register the pain, you can’t really connect the pain and the discomfort together? so you just exist uncomfortably, confused and out-of-sorts, until you either recognise the pain and treat it, or fall asleep from fatigue?
